We return
By: The Gamers, 10-12th Graders
Hiding in the deep,
We are from a time long past,
But we return now
Opposite Worlds
By: A Gamer, 10th Grader
We’re from opposite worlds
You’re an angel
A gift from above
Soaring above the clouds like a dove
And then there’s me
Nothing special you see
I’m from the underworld
A curse from below
I have no great power to bestow
The ones from above and the ones from below
Are never supposed to meet
However, fate would not settle for defeat
I’d love to join you up above
Gaze at the stars and the seas below
Alas, I do not belong in your world
Down here it is too dangerous for you
I can handle the darkness alone
But it’d be nice to be in a different zone
I can’t help but long to reach the stars,
Look down to see all the lights from the cars
I was surprised when fate allowed us to meet again
But I was scared to reach out
Knowing you might not want to see me again
For I am from the world below
And you are from the clouds above
Oh how I wish fate would allow me to reach out
To look into your wonderful eyes and tell the truth
To a friend
Or maybe even
Someone I love

Rantings of a Madman

Ages pass
Kingdoms fall
Hello class
Will you answer the call?
We are your future and your past
But with this old pass
We will rise from our decrepit graves
Laugh in our youthful daze
The exiled court returns
From the age that burns
Our kingdom watch it rise
Fear not our ancient ties
Hello class
An age has passed
Our Dominion
By: A Gamer, 10th Grader
Do you see us?
Ghosts in passing
Do you hear us?
Voices blasting
We ruled the halls you wander
Divisions sowed by cafe walls
We were the ones who made the blunder
Yet our youth still calls
Mythic figures from time long passed
Elders from the sickly class
Rise like a phoenix ascendant into the sky
Rule the halls and never die
Marching forward, never last
The sound of thunder rolling off our backs
Beasts of school who dwell in the past
The ancient creatures that never lack
It's about the Power

ITS ABOUT DRIVE
ITS ABOUT POWER
WE STAY HUNGRY
WE DEVOUR
PUT IN THE WORK
PUT IN THE HOURS
AND TAKE WHATS OURS
